Dear Small business owners, Farmers, Artists and Skill bearers:

Cave Junction Farmers Market, in collaboration with The Motherline, is looking for a cohort of planet protective entrepreneurs to participate in our “Rural ReciProsperity” project, funded by Business Oregon.  Participants must be either small business owners (agricultural businesses encouraged!), artists trying to make a living with their art, or skill bearers trying to make a living teaching their skillset.  All participants must also operate with a planet protective ethos, meaning a major priority is using materials that are earth friendly and don’t deplete planet resources further.

Participants will benefit from:

  • Targeted and free workshops to help increase entrepreneurial income

  • The experiences and camaraderie of fellow entrepreneurs to problem solve

  • Inclusion in a small business map that will be made available to tourists and locals describing your business or offering

  • Inclusion in 3 major events meant to draw local and regional customers to the CJFM

  • Inclusion in a new market ‘hub’ which will be staffed with an advocate who knows and can sell your business to the public

  • Free collaboration with other entrepreneurs through your social media and digital campaigns

  • Inclusion on both the CJFM and Motherline websites as a local planet protective business

What we will require from you is:

  • Enthusiasm and energy to make our local reparative culture and economy grow.

  • Prompt responses to communications.

  • Cooperation with Rural ReciProsperity staff on coordinating information about your business, needs, and challenges.

We are excited to embark on a journey of establishing a more robust, vibrant, and lucrative local business ecosystem that will help us realize our maxim, ”all flourishing is mutual.”

We believe that moving forward together will help us all be more successful and better able to meet our needs.

A reminder: The Motherline and CJFM work together to offer the valley FREE youth arts and agriculture programming on Fridays, when the local public schools are not in session.  Please reach out if you’d like more information on those programs, RiverStars Performing Arts and Cultivate Kids!  This is just one way the Rural ReciProsperity is here to help your family thrive!

To sign up for the Rural ReciProsperity small business cohort, please take this survey

This will help us to get a better idea which workshops would be most useful to our small local businesses. Please complete section 3, to tell us more about your business and how it is planet protective.

Yours in Service,

Alisa, Cindy and Ariadne
