Midori Uehara of Mido’s Miso

“CJFM feels like a big family gathering every week to me.  As a first immigrant in my family, I do not have any biological family member here, but going to the market always gives me a chance to check in with friends and connect.  Also it is very nourishing mentally and physically(food and medicine) to support local venders.  As a vendor, it gives me a chance to introduce myself, my heritage and culture with community.  I also love seeing all the happy community people there.”
